  • Church choirs
  • Senior’s choirs
  • A cappella groups
Auditioned and non-auditioned choirs are welcome.

What conductors say about Choralfest

I am hooked on ChoralFest as a wonderful opportunity to learn from world-class adjudicators, grow as a conductor, perform with my choirs and listen to other ensembles. It is a highlight for the choristers each year.
-Erica Phare-Bergh (Calgary)

A highlight of our season: I cannot say enough about Choralfest as both a director and on behalf of my singers. It truly is one of our favorite learning and performing experiences of the year. Being able to work with multiple adjudicators, listen to and perform for other choirs, and receiving excellent recordings/video of their performance make the experience invaluable.
-Nicole Hounjet, Alberta High School for the Arts (Okotoks)

Choralfest has been one of the best training grounds and educational experiences for my choir over the past 16 years. We look forward to singing in a great venue for other choirs, and then receiving the outstanding workshops with adjudicators who are the best of the best in the choral community. This festival is northern Alberta’s premier choral festival and will remain on our calendar as our number one choice for a festival experience.
-Darwin Krips, Sturgeon Composite High School (Sturgeon County)

I put Choralfest on the calendar every year for my school choirs to attend. The ACF does such a great job of ensuring that the festival runs smoothly and the adjudicators are always of a very high caliber. My students always leave Choralfest with a renewed excitement for singing!
-Lisa Friesen, Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School (Red Deer)
