The one-night, 90-minute, no performance choir for EVERYONE!
Pop-Up Choir is about all about singing in the company of friends. No performances and no apologies for wrong notes!

Whether you're a seasoned singer, haven't sung for years, or have tended to reserve your singing for the shower, Pop-Up Choir is for you. Our leaders have arranged the music so that everyone will be able to sing together in harmony. You don't need to be able to read music, but if you do, the booklets do have a section with notation.

Pop-Up Choir takes place in Sir Winston Churchill Square in the heart of Edmonton's Arts District.
Here's how it works:
  1. When you arrive at Churchill Square, you will get a songbook. The songbooks have pages with just lyrics for people who don't read music and pages with musical notation for those who do.
  2. It's best to arrive a few minutes early.
  3. At 6:30 pm., Caleb and Talesa or Adam and Jessica will lead a quick vocal warm-up and start teaching everyone the parts to the music on the set list. After we've worked on each tune, we'll sing it through so that we can hear how everything fits together.
  4. We'll wrap up by 8:00 pm.
