Join Choir Alberta and become part of a vibrant community of over 500 passionate leaders and supporters of choral music across Alberta. SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP
CHOIRS/SINGING GROUPS
​​This membership is for all community and school-based choirs and singing groups. If your organization or program has multiple choirs, only one membership is required. Fees are based on the size of your choir or organization. 

  • Access library resources
  • Library borrowing privileges – multiple copies
  • Be included in the clinician directory
  • Access resources on the members-only page
  • Attend professional development at a discounted rate*
  • Be profiled on the Choir Alberta website and social media
  • Have concerts and events featured on Choir Alberta social media
  • Post concerts and events on the Choir Alberta calendar
  • Include concerts in Concert Listings newsletter
  • Link to your website from the 'Find A Choir' page
  • Exhibit or display at events / advertise at a discounted rate 
  • Receive e-notes and Concert Listings newsletters
  • Free postings on the Job Board
  • Participate in Choir Alberta festivals and big sing events
  • Participate in the conductor mentorship program
  • Recommend singers for honour choirs
  • Nominate for Awards of Distinction
  • Vote at member meetings

Membership fee: 1–20 members: $100 | 21–80 members: $150 | 81+ members: $250

CONDUCTOR/EDUCATOR
This membership is for conductors and music educators working with choirs and singing groups. If your choir or singing group has a membership, a separate conductor/educator membership is not required.

Membership fee: $95

CHORISTER
This membership is for individuals who currently sing or have sung in a choir or singing group. This is a non-voting membership.

Membership fee: FREE

​ASSOCIATE
This membership is for retired conductors, music educators, administrators, Board members, and choral enthusiasts who want additional benefits beyond those offered in the CHORISTER category.

  • Attend professional development at a discounted rate*

STUDENT
This membership is for full-time students who are interested in being part of the choral community and gaining access to member benefits.

COMPOSER/ARRANGER
This membership is for composers and arrangers who create music for choirs and singing groups of all types.

  • Access to discounted concert tickets*

CORPORATE
This membership is for businesses and corporate entities that want to support and be part of the choral community. It offers opportunities for networking and visibility.
